Who we are ...

1 Chronicles 4:9-10

Now Jabez was more honourable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him in pain." And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested.

The name 'Jabez" means to grieve and be sorrowful.

There has been much grief and sorrow in the world, but God is in the business of delivering, healing, and restoring lives to fulfill His Kingdom purposes.

Jabez cried out to God to be changed and to be an agent of change.

God granted Jabez:

  1. Double blessing (bless me indeed)

  2. Increased influence (enlarge my territory)

  3. Authority and power (that Your hand would be with me)

  4. Protection and provision (that You would keep me from evil)

  5. A different future (that I may not cause pain)

Jabez became more honourable than his brothers

Jabez International Churches exist to be an authentic expression of the Kingdom of God in the earth and to carry the weight of His glory.

We believe that God will do in and through people today what He did for Jabez.

Jabez International Churches are in Uganda, Kenya, DRC, Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Bangladesh.
